Not quite as hip as Melb but way cooler than Bris, Sydney is finding where it fits in. The streets are buzzing on a Saturday evening and even more so with the excitement of Crowded House's encore tour with 360 views of the opera house, harbour bridge, water and Neil Finn himself. Highlights were brunching/shopping in Balmain, the nude art exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales: a collection of exposed and often confronting pieces grouped together because of their similarities sometimes despite their era in which they were created; and mum getting a little bit tipsy from the tiny red wine bottles on the plane ride !!
